Segment

Send Segment events into Email Digit, send Email Digit events to your warehouse.

Two-way sync

What moves between
Segment and Email Digit.

track() events → automations
Any Segment track() event can trigger an Email Digit automation. Identity unified by Segment user_id.
identify() traits → contact properties
Segment user traits sync into Email Digit contact custom fields.
Email Digit events → Segment
reply.received, email.bounced, etc — pushed back into Segment as source events for your warehouse.
Setup

Three steps.
Most teams done in an hour.

01

Add Email Digit as a Segment destination

From your Segment workspace, search 'Email Digit' in the catalog, paste an API token.

02

(Optional) Add Email Digit as a Segment source

If you want our webhook events flowing into BigQuery / Snowflake / Redshift via Segment, add us as a source too.

03

Map events to automations

In our dashboard, pick which Segment events trigger which automations.

Ongoing sync

Once connected, these
stay in sync.

No nightly cron, no batch export. Everything below propagates within ~10 seconds of the source-system event.

What we won't pretend

Honest caveats.

Every migration has edges. Here are ours — better to know up-front than to discover post-cutover.

·Real-time event flow has a ~10-second median latency from Segment to Email Digit; long tail up to 60 seconds.
·We don't support Segment's Personas / Engage features for audience building — use our native segmentation instead.
